I hope you all are as excited as I am for the school year to begin. On this website you will find a lot of information. Please feel free to search around.
A little about myself.... I was born in Illinois and moved to Georgia when I was ten years old (a loooong time ago). I am married and have three beautiful children. Our family has two dogs. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family, play tennis, travel, and run. This is my 22nd year teaching. I have my bachelor degree in early childhood education from Mercer University, my master's degree in reading literacy from Walden University, my specialist degree in brain based learning with a minor in teacher leadership from Nova Southeastern University, and gifted certification. I have taught second, third, fourth, and fifth grades. I love teaching and watching students grow academically. As your child’s teacher, my mission is to aid in academic success by teaching in a safe, exciting, nurturing and academically focused environment. Your child will participate in numerous activities where he/she will work cooperatively with others to achieve one common goal, learning.
